Dr. Pradip R. Shetye, is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery (Orthodontics) at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Adjunct Associate Professor of Orthodontics at NYU College of Dentistry, Craniofacial Orthodontist at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, Director of Orthodontics and Director of Craniofacial Orthodontic Fellowship Program at Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery, NYU Langone Health, New York City, New York, USA.
Dr. Shetye is an internationally recognized craniofacial orthodontist and has authored over 75 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 30 book chapters. In addition, he has given over 175 scientific presentations at various universities and national and international scientific meetings in over 20 countries. He is also the co-editor of Cleft and Craniofacial Orthodontic book, which is scheduled to be published in early 2023.
Dr. Shetye has received several awards for clinical excellence, The prestigious Daniel Marchac Award from The International Society of Craniofacial Surgeons, Paris, France, the Henry Kawamoto Award from the American Society of Craniofacial Surgeons, the Joseph E. Johnson Award, and the Charles Schultz Award, both from the American Association of Orthodontics and T. C. White Award from the RCPS of Glasgow.
