Graduated in medicine in Nantes, in 1969. Assistant Clinical Head at Nantes hospital, at the Jean Delaire' Maxillofacial Department from 1969 to 1973. Fellowship with Paul Tessier in Paris in 71/73. Specialized in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Founding member and past president 2001/2002 of the French Cleft Palate Association. Has founded his private cleft palate team in 1973 which has been agreed as Pays de la Loire skill center in 2008 at clinique Jules Verne, Nantes. Author of 30 scientific publications about cleft lip and palate. Has lectured more than 40 times in 25 Countries. Has been invited as visiting professor to deliver the “Millard Oration’’ at the National Indian Cleft Lip and Palate Congress in 2013 in Nagpur.
